You meet a lot of people every day and you have a lot of important things to do, so you don’t have time to get sick. Carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer so you can a have a chance to kill germs before they can affect you.

A successful woman always carries a few of her business cards in her purse. You never know whom you are going to meet, whom you could shake hands with today or when a great opportunity for your career might come up, so it’s always best to be prepared. Keep your business cards crisp and clean and get a business card holder that complements your personal style.

4. Portable Charger

Always carry a portable charger of some sort in your handbag because you never know when you might need to charge your phone, your computer or your tablet. It’s always best to have a phone or a tablet handy so you can answer all those e-mails that you receive on a daily basis.

5. A Healthy Snack

If you want to be successful in your field then you need to always be ready to perform at your best. You can do that by exercising regularly, getting enough sleep and eating healthy. You should always carry a healthy snack in your bag, like a power bar, an apple or a banana and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

6. Make up Essentials

Try to be very choosy about your make up essentials. Your bag should contain a lipstick or a lip gloss, some mascara, some wet wipes, a sunscreen lotion, a comb and a mirror and that’s it. You don’t need to carry all the items on your dressing table with you to look gorgeous.

7. Floss

The saying that “A smile can be the shortest distance between two people” couldn’t be more true. Do yourself a favor and prevent a potential embarrassing moment by carrying some dental floss with you. Also, make sure to keep your breath minty by having some mints or some gum in your purse too.
