1. Phone Charger
If you have a long day ahead of you, you know you’ll need to charge your phone at some point. Even if you think your battery will last, you could accidentally leave open a few apps or get a phone call that will drain your battery. One of the most important things to have in your purse is your phone charger, because it’s hard to live without your cell. What if you need to contact someone? It’s safest to carry a charger around with you at all times.
2. Flashlight
If you’re driving home late at night, you’ll need a flashlight if your car breaks down. Even if you’re at work or school, the electricity could go out. Or what if you lose something beneath a couch or in another dark area? A flashlight doesn’t seem all that crucial, but it could really help in certain situations.
Frequently asked questions
3. Deodorant or Perfume
If you’re running around all day, trying to accomplish your chores, you’ll need to refresh yourself. By spritzing on some perfume or applying more deodorant, you’ll instantly feel better. Plus, although you hopefully won’t need it, a spray bottle of perfume can act as a defense weapon. Instead of carrying around mace, you can spray an attacker in the eye with your favorite scent.
4. Snack and Water
It’s annoying to have a rumbling stomach. If your day drags on, it can feel like forever until your lunch break. Carry around an energy bar or a bag of something yummy to munch on. In addition, always have a bottle of water with you. You could easily buy one at a store, but chances are they’ll be overpriced. In order to save money, always carry liquids with you.
5. Ear Plugs
This may seem silly, but it can be exceedingly helpful. You can buy small ear plugs at a cheap price, and no one will even realize you’re wearing them. If you’re trying to concentrate on a project and the people around you are making a racket, pop the ear plugs in. You’ll get your work done faster, because there'll be fewer distractions.

6. Day Planner
Even if you have an amazing memory, you stand the chance of forgetting things. Having a day planner allows you to jot down important information. Even if you think you completed all of your tasks, take a glance at the planner. It’ll stop that nagging feeling in the back of your mind that you forgot something.
7. Hand Sanitizer
No one wants to get sick, especially when they have a huge to-do list. In order to get rid of germs after touching a railing or doorknob, rub on some hand sanitizer. That way, you don’t have to make dozens of trips to the bathroom sink. It’s convenient, and if you find a great scent, you’ll get compliments left and right.
Leaving the house with all of these items could make your day a whole lot easier. What do you always pack in your pocketbook before stepping outside?
